CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Governor has directed all flags in Vermillion County to be flown at half-staff Friday to honor a mayor’s death.
This is to honor the death of Clinton, Indiana, Mayor Jack Gilfoy Jr., who passed away on May 17. Mayor Gilfoy Jr. was 75 years old at the time of his death. Flags are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.
Governor Braun also requested that businesses and residents of Vermillion County lower their flags as well.
