TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivor organization is hosting its annual Paint the Town Pink Carnation Sale this Friday.
Two of the organizers joined David and Jen Thursday morning on WTWO Today to talk about the event, and the importance of the work the group does. You can see the full interview at the top of the page.
The event raises money to provide mammograms to women who are uninsured or underinsured in the Valley.
The Carnation Sale will be Friday at various locations across the Valley.
- Organ Law Office on Ohio St -Carnations will be sold in front of the office at 817 Ohio St. beginning at 7:00 a.m. until all are sold or until 5:30 p.m. This is a drive-up sale.
- Carnations will also be sold from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Baesler’s Market, or earlier if all flowers have been sold.
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- First Financial Bank – Fort Harrison, Springhill and West Terre Haute branches
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- First Farmers Bank Honey Creek, Hwy. 46 East, Brazil and Clay City branches.
- The Villas of Hollybrook in Brazil will have a drive through available from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
