TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — A massive police presence is outside the Candlewood Suites in downtown Monday night.
Terre Haute Police Department has confirmed they are dealing with a shooting and are searching the hotel. The entire area is blocked off at this time and they are asking motorists and residents to stay away from the location.
“Due to the size of the hotel, searching the building and collecting evidence presents challenges, requiring a large police presence,” Terre Haute Police wrote on social media.
This is an active situation and we will have more information as it becomes available.
