MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The person who died in an early morning fire in Clark County, Illinois, on April 25, has been identified as 68-year-old Kathleen Hardy.
According to Clark County Coroner, Jeff Pearce, Hardy passed away from injuries sustained in the fire.
WTWO/WAWV previously reported that the fire occurred around 2:45 a.m. on April 25, in the 100 block of Bowen Drive in Marshall. According to fire officials, Hardy was disabled, and first responders were unable to get her out of the house in time.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
