MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— One person has died after an overnight fire in Clark County, Illinois.
The fire occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Bowen Drive in Marshall. Fire Chief Jerry Parsley said the victim was disabled and first responders were unable to get her out of the house in time. The home is a duplex, and Parsley said the other people who live there have been able to return.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. WTWO will update the story as more information becomes available.
