FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A new restaurant called Ice, Sips N Slice had its soft opening this past weekend in Farmersburg.
The new eatery is located in the building that formerly housed a Dairy Queen. Ice, Sips N Slice currently offers ice cream and coffee, and will soon be serving up food items such as pizza and wings. Owner Jeremy Ivy said he remembers getting ice cream after ball games when he was a kid, and he hopes to bring that experience back for the area.
“It’s just one of those things that I cherished as a kid and kids today don’t get that option, so I that’s kind of one of those things that I’d like to bring that memory back,” said Ivy.
He said the goal is to have a grand opening on May 1.
