CASEY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Clark County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police have partnered with Moxxy Forensic Investigations to create a new reconstructed image of a Jane Doe found in 2013.
According to a Facebook post from the Clark County, IL Facebook Page, a new updated image of Casey Jane, a Jane Doe found in 2013, was made in hopes of finding out who she was and how to get her to her family. The image doesn’t claim to perfectly reflect the real-life appearance of the woman, but is based on admixture results taken from her DNA profile.
The DNA states that her ancestry is predominantly eastern Guatemalan, with some possible connections to El Salvador and Honduras. The post states that if you have a similar genetic ancestry, you are encouraged to upload your DNA to Gedmatch. Any memories or information about Jane Doe should be sent to kaycee@moxxyforensics.com.
