DANA, Ind (WTWO-WAWV) — Friday, April, 18th is the 80th anniversary of Ernie Pyle’s death.
In honor of that, a special remembrance and wreath laying ceremony will be held.
It’s from 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Ernie Pyle Rest Park, which located at 700 East U.S. 36 in Dana.
Pyle, a native of Dana, was a famous journalist during World War II. He was killed while covering the war in Okinawa
