TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— On Thursday, 7th graders organized a way to help assist the families of the two girls involved in the bike and ambulance collision.
The event began at 5:00 p.m. at Baesler’s in Terre Haute and our Cole Nobbe was there to catch the event. Nobbe said that the event is currently taking place in the Baesler’s parking lot between it and the Meadows Shopping Center. Classmates were seen lining up along the street holding signs and attempting to get drivers to stop and support the fundraiser.
Those who do stop are treated to a free car wash, food, and hospitality if they donate towards the cause. Nobbe reported that the event has had a good turnout to the event thus far, and it will continue to run until 7 p.m. Thursday. All proceeds will go to the families affected by this tragic event.
