TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)—The Vigo County Public Library will be holding its annual Friends of the Library Book Sale.
The library will be selling books, DVDs, CDs, and other items. The news release states that thousands of items will be up for sale at low prices. The books can range from recent bestsellers to classics. proceeds from the sale will be used to fund programs and services at the library .
The event will take place on the first weekend of May, from Friday to Sunday, in meeting rooms A through D. The sale on Friday, May 2nd, will be open from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will serve as a preview for library members. If you aren’t a member of the library, though, but want to get a look at the sale before the rest of the public, you can purchase a membership at the door for $5. The sale will also be open to the general public on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
