TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Catmoshpere Café in Terre Haute will be going through some changes.
When the café opened last summer, they partnered exclusively with the Terre Haute Humane Society. Since then, the café has adopted out hundreds of cats, and the humane society is having a hard time keeping up.
The cafe’s owner, Jade Lishka, said she has decided to rotate between different rescues throughout the valley.
“We actually just started with Ouabache. We got them here for three months and then after that next rescue to be determined. But we’re doing this so that way we’re not depleting any one rescue and trying to help as many community rescue cats as we can,” Lishka said.
The café will also now be offering handcrafted drinks like sparkling energy refreshers, coffee, and Boba tea.
