TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — At Indiana State Wednesday, the 7th annual “Give to Blue day.”
The fundraiser aims to reach current and former students from around the country.
This year, the university’s goal is to have more than 1,865 donors. That is the year ISU was founded.
Throughout campus, a number of events took place, including a cash cab, sponsored by ISU Credit Union.
Dr. Greg Bierly, President Godard and his wife, as well as Director of Athletics Nathan Christensen took turns riding around campus and asking students trivia questions to raise money.
Vice President of University Advancement at ISU, Andrea Angel, said the best part about “Give to Blue day” is the donors get to choose.
“The best part about “Give to Blue day” is the money is used wherever the donor designates that gift”, Angel said. “Whether that is to a scholarship, our athletic teams, a faculty initiative. Wherever the donor wants the money to go, that’s where that gift will be used.”
If you are interested in donating to “Give to Blue”, you have until the end of the day on April 9th.
You can donate on the Indiana State website here.
