VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The organization Hands of Hope held a roundtable discussion on Wednesday with churches and organizations in Vigo County.
The goal was to discuss how churches and organizations can help foster children and families. Attendees learned about the needs of at-risk children and families in the community and how they can help make a difference.
“The number of people I know impacted by the reality of families in crisis and not having enough support, relational, physical, whatever that looks like, everyone can do something about that,” said Lara Archibald, Church Engagement Specialist with Hands of Hope. “You may not be a foster family or a foster parent, but we really firmly believe that everyone can do something.”
The organization holds discussions like this regularly in counties across Indiana. To learn more about Hands of Hope, click here.
