Jasonville – Those wanting to cool off this summer at a pool will be able to do so at Shakamak State Park.
There had been discussion at the state level that the pool would not be opening this season.
“The pool at Shakamak State Park will be open this year,” confirmed Holly Lawson, Director of the Division of Communications for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The pool was open in the 1990’s after the lake was closed for swimming.
