TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Terre Haute Fire Department (THFD) was able to extinguish a house fire quickly this morning.
According to THFD Captain Nick Arnold, the department responded to a residential structure fire this morning at 613 S 15th St. at 7:51 am
When units arrived, smoke was showing from the roof/attic area.
The home was occupied by two adults and two minors. There were no injuries reported. Red Cross has been contacted to help the occupants.
The department was able to control the fire in minutes and no other structures were involved.
“The family will be displaced, but the home is not a total loss,” according to Captain Arnold.
Arnold noted that the “cause is currently under investigation.”
