JASONVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An early morning fire Monday has left a Jasonville family without a home.
According to Jasonville Volunteer Fire Department (JVFD) Assistant Fire Chief Mike Duckworth, his department was called to 717 South Horace at 3 am for a fire in a furnace.

Duckworth said that when firefighters arrived flames were visible from the back of the house. The JVFD then called for mutal aid from Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department, Hymera Volunteer Fire Department, Thunderbird Volunteer Fire Department and the Linton Fire Department.
The family was at home at the time of the fire.
“Everyone got out before crews arrived. No injuries were reported. Red Cross has been notified,” stated Duckworth.
Firefighters were on the scene until 6 am.
According to Duckworth, the rental home is a total loss.
