PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— Horizon Health is offering a special class this April for those who want to know how to better look after children.
The Safe Sitter class will be offered on April 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Horizon Health Education Center located at 15197 U.S. Highway 150 in Paris, Illinois. The class will be offered to boys and girls from ages 11 to 13. This program is a nationally recognized class that helps teach kids safety skills for babysitting, looking after younger siblings, or taking care of themselves while home alone. The class will feature tips on safety and security measures, child development facts, age-appropriate activities, and explaining the business aspects of babysitting.
The cost of the class is $50 which will cover all the materials needed and provide lunch for your child. No parental supervision is necessary.
