TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Today was our annual Tail-a-Thon.
During this event, we raised money for the Terre Haute Humane Society. Donations from the community are crucial for the Terre Haute Humane Society’s work in finding animals their forever homes. Every day the shelter provides food, care, and a lot of love to the animals all with the goal of getting them adopted.
All of this would not be possible without the generous support of the community. Julie Alicea and her mom donated today, and they say they are happy to help.
“It means a great deal to me and to the community if you would come and give.”
We were able to raise $61,267, a new record high.
