TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Wednesday, March 19, is our station’s annual Tail-A-Thon, where we’ll try to raise as much money as we can for the Terre Haute Humane Society.
Leading up to the event, WTWO/WAWV will be featuring some of the special pups living at the shelter.
WTWO/WAWV Anchor Mike Tank, spent some time at the shelter to meet some of the senior dogs. Now, he’s introducing us to Frank, a rescue who has been at the shelter for the last two years.
Frank is a black lab mix who has struggled with bad hip dysplasia since he got to the shelter. This is very common in black labs as they get older. At one point Frank wasn’t able to walk on his own because of the pain. He is now better due to medication and is looking for an owner who will love and care for him.
