REELSVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana State Police have arrested a Reelsville man after finishing an investigation that began in December of 2024.
According to a news release from the Indiana State Police, officers received information that a 14-year-old female had been inappropriately touched by an adult male and started their investigation on December 23, 2024. The release states that the investigation concluded with 40-year-old Casey W. Grayson of Reelsville as the suspect. Grayson not only allegedly committed sexual misconduct with a juvenile girl, but also found that he was in possession of child pornography.
After reviewing the evidence, Putnam County Prosecutor’s Office issued the arrest warrant for Grayson who was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon by Indiana State Police Central SWAT Team without incident. Grayson is currently being held in the Putnam County Jail on a cash-only $250,000 bond.
Grayson is being charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor involving intercourse or other sexual behavior which is a class four felony, one count of sexual misconduct with a minor involving fondling or touching which is a class six felony, and 10 counts of possession of child pornography which is a class six felony.
