TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — GE Aerospace has announced that it will be investing nearly $1 billion in its U.S. manufacturing sites and suppliers, including $9 million at its site in Terre Haute and more than $14 million across Indiana.
GE Aerospace said the investment will go towards high-tech milling machines, tooling and inspections on equipment to maintain a high-quality product, along with long-term upgrades and investments in utilities and the building.
“This investment allows the site to continue producing quality parts that are literally at the core of the engine—just like manufacturing is to our community and country,” said Gerald Beuvelet, Site Leader for GE Aerospace Terre Haute.

GE Aerospace Terre Haute produces combustors and structural components for wide and narrow-body aircraft engines. They also produce combustors and structural components for military fighter jet engines.
