TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Saturday, WTWO/WAWV hosted the Wabash Valley Home and Outdoor Expo at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds.
This gave many local businesses the chance to highlight the services they offer to the community. WTWO General Manager Tim Sanders said this is the perfect time of year to showcase the over 40 businesses that were in attendance.
“Spring is almost here as we are going to have 70-degree weather next week, and this is a great time for people for people to find out if they are wanting to do home remodeling, looking for a new lawnmower, or landscaping,” said Sanders. “This is a great opportunity to highlight those local businesses to see what they can use.”
One of these businesses in attendance was Bobcat of Daviess County. Outside salesman Frank Kiefer said events like this are typically very beneficial to them.
“We do events lie this all the time to be a face in the community,’ said Kiefer. “We love to put faces with names, we love to see the different people and find out the options they could possibly use and how we could become partners.”
Sanders added that this event will continue to be held in the following years.
