FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Governor Mike Braun has announced they are taking applications for this year’s Governor Fellowship.
The fellowship allows a unique experience to participate in state government where you will be placed into different state agencies on a rotating basis throughout the year. Applications for the positions will be accepted through March 24.
“The opportunity to be a Governor’s Fellow is a unique way to serve our state while learning through hands-on exposure,” Gov. Braun said. “Please encourage those early in their careers to consider this fellowship as a building block in their professional experience.”
The program will be open to college graduates with either their associate or bachelor’s degrees beginning in the summer or fall of 2024 or spring of 2025. The position is also open for those without a degree who have at least two years of full-time professional experience. Fellows will be paid, full-time employees who will assist in the day-to-day activities of Indiana government.

Those who apply will know if they’ve received the fellowship by no later than April 15 and those who clear the interview process and receive the fellowship will start July 1.
