VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local university received a big recognition for its nursing program.
Vincennes University was recognized by Nurse.org as one of the top Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs in the state. The university was recognized for its high standards of curriculum and program quality.
Dean of Health Sciences and Human Performance Michelle Cummins said even with this recognition, there is always room for improvement.
“We’re always looking for continuous quality improvement so there’s always places that we can make grounds to improve to even be better the next year and the next year, and that’s what we’re always going to do. We’re never going to take our foot off the gas,” said Cummins.
She said Vincennes University offers multiple pathways into the career field for students interested in health care.
