SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The new housing developments in Sullivan are now starting to become visible.
Mayor J.D. Wilson said that this was a 13-million-dollar investment into the city as getting more housing remains one of their main focuses. He said that the winter has been kind to the workers and that they are still on schedule to complete this project in their 18-month window.
Wilson said this is just the start of many great things coming Sullivan.
“They are looking for places to rent and buy as there is just a housing problem out there,” said Wilson. “We have something strong here in the city of Sullivan, and I hope it continues for a long time.”
This development will consist of nearly 40 lease-to-purchase town homes and single-family homes.
