TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, to celebrate a new space for counseling services at Chance and Services for Youth (CASY).
CASY Counseling provides life skills, counseling, therapeutic services, co-parenting services and supervised visitation for individuals and families.
The program is funded through insurance, grants and the Vigo County Health Department’s Health First funding.
“There is a need in terms of children dealing with family issues and some mental health symptoms, anxiety, depression, difficulty just with school-based work and trying to be successful in the different environments they are in,” said Jennifer Todd, Clinical Supervisor for CASY Counseling.
CASY Counseling receives referrals from the community and through schools. To contact them just call Chance and Services for Youth and ask for CASY Counseling.
