TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Fire Department (THFD) responded to a residential structure fire, Saturday, at 1002 S. 9th Street, according to THFD Public Information Officer, Captain Nick Arnold.
Arnold said as deputies arrived at the 1000 block of S. 9th Street, smoke could be seen coming from the attic vents of the house. Four adults, five cats, and a dog were inside the residence, at the time of the fire. However, no injuries were reported.
The fire was quickly extinguished and an investigation concluded that the cause of the fire was ruled electrical.
