INDIANAPOLIS –A church in Greencastle will bring together the community and families living with disability through a worldwide event created by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
The Greencastle Christian Church will host a “Night to Shine” event from 4-7 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the church, located at 620 Primrose Lane in Greencastle.
According to the church’s website, the event is centered on God’s love as well as honoring and valuing people with special needs. Guests and volunteers for the event are required to be registered by Jan. 30.
On Thursday, John Tischer, the lead pastor at the Greencastle Christian Church, and Ruth Myers, the lead volunteer for the event, spoke with FOX59 Morning News Anchor Daniel Miller about “the event, “Night to Shine,” what it means to them to host the event and what will be a part of it.
