TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local internet provider has laid off a portion of their workforce Wednesday. WTWO has received the following statement from Joink.

The company statement went on to say, “This decision, while difficult, ensures that we are positioned for long-term success and continued growth. According to Joink’s website, the company was founded in Terre Haute. They have grown from a dial-up provider to offering fiber optic, fixed wireless, and a range of business technology solutions, according to the company website.
Joink states on their website that they offer services which include voice, managed IT, hosting, and partnerships with services like Streaming TV and emerging technologies to enhance customer experiences and business efficiencies.
