TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The cold weather has delayed the start of demolition on the old Vigo County Jail.
According to a Facebook post by Vigo County Commissioner Chris Switzer, “With temperatures in the single digits, the contractor does not want to run their excavating equipment and I don’t blame them.”
The work is now scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on January 22.
