TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A wanted man was arrested early Thursday morning after an incident in Terre Haute.
Around 12:45 a.m., Terre Haute Police Department officers responded to the 1200 block of South 10th Street regarding a report of a known suspect.
According to a media release, twenty-four-year-old Mohamed Mohamed, of Terre Haute, attempted to contact a female victim who has an active Order of Protection against him, at her residence. Officers were aware that Mohamed had an active warrant for robbery.
Upon arrival to the area, officers located the vehicle believed to be associated with Mohamed. Officers conducted a felony traffic stop, and Mohamed was taken into custody without incident.
Mohamed was arrested on charges of an active robbery warrant, Invasion of Privacy, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Mohamed Mohamed was taken to the Vigo County Security Center and is scheduled to appear in Vigo County Court on Thursday.
