MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— State Representative Adam Niemerg has announced the next dates and locations for his satellite office hours program to help constituents around the 102 District.
This program provides opportunities for constituents to meet with legislative staff to receive help and discuss state issues and concerns. The four locations will be at St. Joseph Village Hall, Georgetown Senior Center, Paris City Hall, and Marshall City Hall. Hours vary depending on the location.
Legislative Director Hyleri Bowlin will be assisting with the Marshall satellite office and she said this is a great way to be available to everyone.
“With the 102 District being so large, it’s kind of hard for some constituents to be able to make it to the district office. So, the satellite office hours we offer is a way for constituents to express any concerns they have about anything going on in their community, any legislation they would like to see addressed, or even if they’re just having issues with any government programs and need assistance with those.”
The main district office is located at 100 Norb Avenue in Dieterich, Illinois.
On Tuesday, January 14, satellite hours will be conducted at the following times:
- St. Joseph Village Hall: 207 E. Lincoln Street, St. Joseph
- 8:00-9:00 a.m.
- Georgetown Senior Center (Inside Municipal Bldg.): 102 W. West Street, Georgetown
- 9:45-10:45 a.m.
- Paris City Hall: 206 S. Central Avenue, Paris
- 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
- Marshall City Hall: 201 S. Michigan Avenue, Marshall
- 1:45-3:15 p.m.
The Satellite Office Hours program will include the following times and locations for Thursday, January 16:
- Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce: 1121 State Street, Lawrenceville
- 10:00-11:15 a.m.
- Robinson Public Library: 606 N. Jefferson Street, Robinson
- 12:00-1:15 p.m.
- Newton Public Library: 100 S. Van Buren Street, Newton
- 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Additional Satellite Office Hours are set for Tuesday, January 21 at the following locations and times:
- Toledo Village Hall: 160 Courthouse Square, Toledo
- 8:00-9:00 a.m.
- Ashmore Village Hall: 10 W. Ashmore Street, Ashmore
- 10:00-11:00 a.m.
- Edgar County Farm Bureau: 210 W. Washington Street, Paris
- 12:00-1:30 p.m.
- Marshall Public Library: 612 Archer Avenue, Marshall
- 2:15-3:45 p.m.
