TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Manna from Seven announced a change to their upcoming “food for the weekend” distribution.
According to the organization, due to the current condition of the alley from which they serve, combined with the winter weather advisory forecasted, the decision was made to close operations for the coming weekend.
“We understand how disappointing this is to you, but we must keep public safety and volunteer safety our priority,” The organization stated. “
The organization will give away perishable food ahead of the forecasted snow on Friday, January 10 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until it’s gone.
“Blessings and peace to all of you. Please stay warm and safe,” The organization said in a Facebook post.
