MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) –According to a press release from the Indiana State Police (ISP), ISP and Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a deadly two-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 east of State Road 450, just west of Shoals.
Officials said the crash happened when a 2016 Cadillac SUV traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 lost control and traveled sideways into the westbound lane, colliding with a Mack semi-tractor trailer.
The driver of the Cadillac, Paul M. Davis, 58, of Shoals, was pronounced dead on the scene by the Martin County Coroner. The Driver of the semi-tractor trailer was not injured in the incident.
