FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— We bring you another check-in on the status of the winter storm coming through the Wabash Valley.
The wreck that happened on I-70 around 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time at mile marker 124 in Cumberland County still has both eastbound lanes and one westbound lane closed. Traffic is currently being rerouted to U.S. 40.
We then checked in with Cole Nobbe in Terre Haute where he informed us that it was still snowing and that winds had picked up in the area. Cole said that traffic was nearly non-existent and that the amount of plows had lowered but they were still running and most businesses in the area were closed.
We then caught up with Dan Reynolds who let us know that we were seeing breaks in the snowfall but that it would pick up and continue through the night. For more information watch the clip above.
