TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Catholic Charities Terre Haute is just one part of the network telling you we are there for you.
Catholic Charities Terre Haute is joining in the national Catholic Charities campaign We Are There. We Are There is a national campaign to raise awareness of the services that Catholic Charities agencies provide for their communities. Catholic Charities Terre Haute has been serving the city for over five decades regardless of any faith basis. According to the news release from Catholic Charities they provide, “help and creates hope by nourishing the minds, bodies and spirits of children, families, adults and seniors.” They do this by working with partners in the community to provide nutritious food, safe shelter, and youth programming along with personal and household needs.
There are 168 independent Catholic Charities agencies along with 3,900 throughout the United States and its five territories. In total, the network served more than 15 million people in the last year and provided more than 30 million meals to the needy. This is all done with the help of 215,000 volunteers across the nation. The services provided in each area are tailored for each community. To learn more about the We Are There campaign you can visit this website.
