BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — UPDATE: More information has been provided by the Brazil Chief of Police. According to him, the wreck occurred around 5:15 a.m. Thursday morning. Brazil Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to a house located at 1326 Willow Drive. According to police, the investigation determined that the car was traveling east on Willow Drive when the vehicle left the road at the intersection of Willow Drive and Pinecrest Drive. The car entered through the northwest corner of the home and exited through the southeast corner.
The driver was identified as 59-year-old John W. Coltharp and was checked by medics but didn’t find any sign of injury. The owner of the home was asleep at the time of the incident and was not injured but stated they would go to the hospital to be checked later. The home however received extensive damage.

Our crew on scene says it appears a truck drove through one side of a house and came out the other side.
Officials confirmed no one inside the home was injured. The driver’s condition was not available at the time.
