TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – With the possibility of heavy snow this weekend, it’s not just road crews who are preparing for winter weather.
Local residents are also starting to get stocked up on groceries and essential items.
Kristine O’Hare with Marketing at Baesler’s said the day after New Year’s is typically slow, but business picked up with the news of snow in the forecast.
She added that Baesler’s is ready to meet the customers’ needs.
“We’re good on everything and it is nice it wasn’t a surprise weather forecast, so we have had time to plan for things and add to our trucks and whatnot,” said O’Hare.
She said that the earlier people can get their grocery shopping done the better.
