UPDATE: Terre Haute Police Sgt. Justin Sears said officers responded to a shots fired call Thursday night in the 1600 block of S. Center Street. This street is near the areas of Seabury Avenue and 7th Street and Hulman and 7th Streets where WTWO found police searching the ground.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -A police investigation got underway Thursday night in the areas of Seabury Avenue and 7th Street in Terre Haute and nearby by Hulman and 7th Streets.
Several officers from the Terre Haute Police Department and the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department were at the scene. They put police caution tape up between two buildings and appeared to be searching the ground for evidence.
