PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person was taken to the hospital Friday night after a three-vehicle accident on US 36 near Raccoon Lake.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles were stopped in traffic, a Ford pickup was waiting to turn left onto a Private Drive, and a Chevy truck was stopped behind the Ford when a van rear-ended the Chevy causing it to rear-end the Ford truck.
The driver of the van was transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for injuries sustained in the crash.
Bellmore First Responders, Rockville Rescue, Parke County EMS, and Double D Towing assisted at the scene.
