ROSEDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Christmas season will be in full effect in Rosedale this weekend as it will host the 5th annual Christmas Parade and Craft Bazaar.
The celebration will begin Friday at 6pm with a tree lighting ceremony. It starts back up Saturday at 8 a.m. with a blood drive at the Rosedale Fire Department to help 2 local farmers.
The Craft Bazaar will open up shortly after at 10 a.m at the Florida Township Civic Center. That will last all day until the Christmas Parade at 7 p.m.
Event organizer Sarah Cottrell said she hopes this brings local family and neighbors together for the holidays.
“The most rewarding part is seeing the kids happy and the families together,” said Cottrell. “Even though it is very cold, we still have a good crowd out here.”
There will also be kid activities at the Florida Township Civic Center from 11-3 p.m. on Saturday.
