SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Sullivan County Players will be performing a musical adaptation of “A Christmas Carol,” this weekend at the former Sherman House Theater in Sullivan.
The director of the show, and the cast, joined David and Jen Wednesday morning on WTWO 6:30 Today to talk about the show and to perform some songs from the musical. You can see the full interview at the top of the page.
The adaptation was written by Sullivan resident Christopher Stevens and features a cast of 28 people playing 50 different characters.
“We added some well-known Christmas carols with some newer arrangements that are some toe-tapping, rousing songs,” Stevens explains. “So, we want the community to come out and sing along with these Christmas carols as we perform A Christmas Carol.”
