TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— State Senator Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute) was appointed by the Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve on five committees this assembly.
Goode will be serving the 124th Indiana General Assembly under the following committees:
- Appropriations
- Education and Career Development
- as a ranking member
- Elections
- Family and Children Services
- School Funding
- subcommittee
“With the General Assembly tasked with important work in 2025, including crafting the state’s next budget, I am honored to be assigned to these committees,” Goode said. “I’d like to thank President Pro Tem Rodric Bray for showing faith in me and naming me ranking member of the Senate Committee on Education and Career Development. Between my new ranking member responsibilities and serving on the Appropriations Committee, which reviews all state spending bills, including the budget, it’s sure to be a busy session. I’m ready to collaborate with my colleagues as we work together to make Indiana an even stronger state.”
Committee hearings can be watched online at iga.in.gov along with legislative calendars, agendas, vote tallies, and proposed legislation. The 2025 legislative session began on November 19th also known as Organization Day. The Senate is scheduled to meet again January 8th.
