UPDATE: The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reports Smith has been found safe.
GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Greene County Sheriff’s Department has asked for help in locating a missing person out of Montgomery, Indiana.
Rickie Allen Smith, a 68-year-old man, has been missing since Tuesday at 6 p.m. Smith was the referee at a basketball game at Pleasantview Mennonite Church and was his last known location between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. and didn’t return home.
Smith is a white man, approximately six foot two inches tall and around 200 pounds. Smith has blue eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing his referee uniform, which consisted of a black and white striped shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a black jacket. He was believed to be driving a 2016 black four-door Ford F150 pickup truck. The sheriff’s department believes Smith is in danger and may need medical attention, and asks you to contact law enforcement if found at 812-384-4411
