TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A Facebook post from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office stated that they responded to 42 vehicle incidents on Monday due to road conditions.
The post went on to say that the incidents ranged from cars sliding off the road to collisions, some with injuries. The office said to put the amount into reference they noted that they responded to 150 of these incidents in total throughout the entire month of October.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind drivers that drivers should keep weather conditions in mind when heading out on the roadways. They suggest over the next few months as temperatures stay low, to stay off roads unless necessary and if so to drive slowly and cautiously.
