TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTWO/WAWV) – Terre Haute police investigate a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Shortly before 7:30 Tuesday night, officers responded to a home on S. 14th Street near Wabash Avenue.
According to Terre Haute Police Sgt. Justin Sears, officers found one person with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to a local hospital.
The THPD Violent Crime Unit has taken over the investigation. Sears said there does not appear to be any threat to the community.
