BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Brazil Police Department is reminding families that the deadline to apply for their Shop with a Cop event is Wednesday, December 4.
Applications can be found online here or picked up at the Brazil Police Department. The deadline to turn in the application is 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 4. The child must live in Clay County.
Brazil Police Chief Clint McQueen said this will be the 24th year the Brazil Police Department has done this program.
“We want to help the families at Christmas who are having some harder times, struggling a little bit financially. We make sure these kids have a good Christmas for one and help the families provide that to their kids,” said Chief McQueen.
He added that if anyone is interested in supporting the program, the police department is always accepting donations for the Shop with a Cop fund.
