TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — State and local law enforcement agencies are reporting numerous accidents due to slick roadways.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office reported hazardous road conditions Monday afternoon and multiple crashes.
The agency added that state and county highway departments are out working and added that people should use caution if they are out on the roadways.
Indiana State Police also reports multiple accidents.
ISP Putnamville Post PIO Sergeant Matt Ames said troopers in the Putnamville district are responding to several accidents on I-70 due to the snowfall.
He reminded drivers to reduce their speed, increase their following distance and buckle up.
