MATTOON, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— Odd Fellow Road in Mattoon is scheduled to close on December 3rd before closing again later on.
A news release from the Public Works Director stated that the road will close for the day on December 3rd between Country Club Road and Crescent Drive to locate utilities in the area as they prepare for a new sanitary sewer. The road will have crews potholing to locate utilities in the area and then will reopen the road on the 3rd once they have finished.
Once everything has been accounted for however, Public Works will determine a date for them to begin the actual work on the crossing later in the week and a notice will be sent once the date is determined. Closures are currently being planned for overnight and are expected to take two days before reopening.
