TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Zorah Shrine is hosting its third annual “FEZtival of Trees” and organizers say it’s the biggest year yet.
The family-friendly event kicks off on Saturday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. It’s open to the public, admission is $2 for those 13 years and over.
For eight days, you can visit Zorah Shrine’s County Place at 4500 E. Temple Ave. in Terre Haute to view fully decorated Christmas trees displayed with gifts. Organizers say it’s a beautiful sight.
FEZtival of Trees hours:
- Saturday 11/23 – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday 11/24 – 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday 11/25 – 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Tuesday 11/26 – 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Wednesday 11/27 – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Thursday 11/28 – Closed for Thanksgiving
- Friday 11/29 – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Saturday 11/30 – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Visitors can purchase raffle tickets for $1 each for a chance to win a fully decorated Christmas tree and the gifts surrounding the tree. Each display is a separate raffle.
In addition to the raffles, the festival offers free activities for kids including cookie decorating, ornament decorating, holiday coloring sheets, and visits with Santa.
The “FEZtival of Trees” will also have free refreshments and snacks made possible with the help of Duke Energy and Pepsi.
Steve Craig, the Potentate of Zorah Shinre, said it’s their biggest year yet. “There are 98 trees this year. And there are some really, really good trees, some really exciting things to see, so this is a banner year for us,” he said.
